Spot on with your observations and suggestions. It can be very unsettling at first when you see the world for what it actually is, but that also equips you to position and plan how you want to live as all of this unfolds. Time to stop believing the stories we continue to be told and make our own.

Very insightful read. You definitely hit on some high points of concern. My deepest concern is the amount of chaos that is running rampant every which way is our minds are always changing the line in the sand. Each day presents new challenges when we haven’t quite reconciled with how we should deal with the day before, it’s difficulty is trying to process stuff before the next shoe drops hence the more chaos. It creates a sort of holding the breath thinking things will stand still for a moment 🤔 but it doesn’t work 😳

The noise is blinding. Add to that work, life, dinner...many have little battery strength left.

I think we all can benefit from purposely slowing down so we can see what's happening to this world. Investing the time to read articles like this is a great way to do that.

Or should that be "deafening"

Well composed and written. Sanest voice I run into on Substack (or elsewhere).

Brilliant. Profound. Moving! Great writing. I couldn't detect an iota of AI. You're preaching to the converted, the choir, whatever the April, 2026 cliché is. Would that those who NEED to read your essay, would read it. They won't. Too long. Too many big words. They already intuit that you're woke.Too difficult to grasp. And WAAAY outside their indoctrination bubbles. Even so, brava. You did a great service, Jessica. You are a very good communicator.

I'm bouncing along the bottom of okay right now. I know I need to take a break, but I have a driving need to know what's going on. It's definitely scary times and disconcerting how so many people just do not have a clue what's happening, on purpose. Thank you for this writing. As grave as your report is I don't feel quite as alone as I did before reading .

I feel this on so many levels. I’m starting to develop a warrior attitude. Sometimes a warrior has Tommy back and regroup and regain strength before they can fight again. Fight we must, but we need to prepared in body and mind before we strike back. This enemy that we face today is so full of hubris and invincibility because they have all the money and now all the power. They are going to fuck up and when they do we need pounce like a hungry lion and rip them to shreds. And without mercy strike the kill blow and throw their carcass to the actual vultures. It’s not about money anymore. It’s about blood and lots of it needs to spill.

By way of spending time thinking of nothing …

I think the world has become the 190-shock guy, for the most part 😢
