Love how this reframes prepping as anxiety channeled into agency. The shift from abstract worry to hands-on skills like canning actaully gives control back tbh. Most prepper content gets stuck on expensive gear lists, but framing it as 'accessible where you are' makes it way less paralayzing. Been slowly building my own pantry stockand the calm is real.

Exactly. I'm trying hard to keep it focused less on gear and more on practical knowledge. Over time, expensive gear will break down. It certainly buys time and comfort, but it's important to develop the skills.
